COVID-19 Info

Due to the global Coronavirus pandemic we appreciate that health and safety is a major concern for many of our customers at the moment. We want to let you know that we are working very hard to ensure the most effective protection is in place for both you and our staff during the COVID-19 situation.

Here are some of the things that we are doing and suggest you also do to protect your health during this time;

1. Contactless Home Delivery/Kerbside Collection

Unfortunately, as a result of the highly contagious nature of the Coronavirus, it is simply not safe to run our usual market-style Arba Minim collection evenings. The risk of transmission would be too great if we allowed so many people to come through our doors to touch and inspect everything in the usual manner.

We are offering the unique opportunity to have your Arba Minim selected on your behalf under the supervision of a local Rav Hamachshir or expert mashgichim from Israel who will check the kashrus and quality of the Arba Minim prior to pick-up or delivery.  This is the best way to ensure that everyone can enjoy a happy and healthy festival of Sukkos without compromising on safety or the desire for hiddur mitzvah.

We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this amazing opportunity to have your Arba Minim chosen on their behalf under the supervision of experienced and knowledgeable Rabbonim. Your Arba Minim will be delivered to your home, or can be picked up from a convenient local address.

There will also be a limited number of COVID-safe selection opportunities on offer.

For details about the collection process this year please see the collection information specific to Melbourne or Sydney.

2. Cashless payment preferred

We recommend card payments or bank transfers instead of cash, plus we encourage our customers to use our website to make checking out as easy as possible.

3. Social distancing

Please follow signs around our premises, which are there to help you follow social distancing guidelines.

4. Face Masks

While face coverings are currently mandatory in Victoria, we also strongly encourage the use of face coverings in our NSW premises.

While face coverings are not mandatory in NSW, we feel it's important that as a responsible business we do whatever we can to help reduce community transmission of COVID-19.

5. Wash your hands

We encourage all staff and customers to wash or sanitise their hands before handling any of our Arba Minim or entering our premises. We also remind everyone not to touch your face unless your hands have been sanitised.

As an additional precaution, all staff and customers visiting our premises will also be required to wear gloves.

Thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation as we all work together to keep our communities COVIDSafe.
